Sufix Super 21 is made of high-density, high-molecular-weight nylon, also known as high-density nylon. This allows the line to be stretched without losing its properties and provides high strength with only 21% elongation.
The production process, an advanced hardening process, creates long, strong molecular chains. This makes Sufix Super 21 resistant to friction, impact and knots. During production, the line is cooled to very low temperatures several times and then heated again.
This process gives the line excellent elasticity. The combination of high-strength, viscous nylon and an improved vulcanization process increases the average elongation of Sufix Super 21 by only 21%, which is 40% less than traditional monofilament nylon.
